 Desire For The Crown

A prestigious and international platform – Miss World Malaysia 2015 was my first pageant in my modeling career, whereby I won the subsidiary title MISS NATURAL BEAUTY.

The whole experience was eye opening, I was able to understand the way other models think and function thanks to ‘pageant week’ and I got to not only show myself on stage, but also to present myself in the pageant scenario which goes beyond what happens on stage, but also how you carry yourself with elegance, confidence, and poise.

Miss World enabled me to expand my contacts list to depths that then enabled me to dream beyond just the stage but to also focus on fundamental things that I wanted to do and get me in touch with the right people to brainstorm with and proceed.

 

 

Miss Tourism Malaysia 2015

In the Fall of 2015, I participated in my second Pageant – Miss Tourism Malaysia 2015. Miss Tourism was a different experience in comparison to Miss World Malaysia, it focused on the same principles but its exercised my brain in a drastically different way.

This competition was accompanied by a 2 week long pageant week where their challenges were tough, yet heartwarming and definitely gave me a lot of pleasant and beautiful insight about my home country.

From Miss Tourism Malaysia 2015 I received the subsidiary award of BEST IN TALENT, which was a pleasant surprise as I performed the song SUNDAY MORNING – MAROON 5 that evening, and I am not a practicing singer, in fact I am a very casual singer, Iv been doing it as a child around the house and with peers, in other words, I am what they call “a bathroom superstar”

 

 

Public Speech and Performance

I am natively an English speaker, my parents raised me in English and I’d say my level of English is quite proficient. I enjoy public speaking, I enjoy engaging a crowd by different approaches across different subjects.

I have emcee-ed a number of private events and will continue to book gigs, shows, and events. The factor that drew emcee-ing to my attention was I my confidence of speech that I had developed from numerous times I had spoken and presented within the pageants. My ability to convey a message effectively is now a proven skill I have developed over the few years, and the satisfaction I get from it is without a doubt abundant.

Recently, over the past year, I have discovered a new courage, a courage to sing on stage. Stage-fright no longer captures me to immensely, allowing me to explore my entertainment talent beyond more than just the typical introduction and cat-walk. Emceeing was my first finding, but performing is definitely a new chapter I am looking forward to refining.
